My dad (Even) and Marie (his sister) came to Minn. first and later on their parents and the rest of the family came.
I have heard that my parents first child was still born, other than that I don't have any other informaion on this child. I guess my parents never talked about it. When we were little  our  parents always spoke in Norwegian when they didn't want us to know what they were talking about. Now it's a family  joke when we get togehter. Grandma Evenson always scolded us because we never learned to speak Norwegian and so we coudn't understand what they were talking about. Now I wsh I had learned to speak it.  Lorraine Evenson

Found your Mom's (Opal Evenson) birth certificate. It says her mom was Ina GULLMAN, address  402 Maple St., St. Paul, MN, born in Finland and she was 27 years old when  your Mom was born.  Her Dad was Ole Evenson, same address.
