A search of my records for New Windsor, Orange County showed the following references to the Abrams-Abraham family. I did find a reference to John Abrams being one of the earlier purchasers of a portion of land from William Lupton who held part of the Cruger interest in the Kipp-Cruger patent No.3 of about 1767. Lupton holdings now referred to as Luptondale which is located in the present day T/Newburgh near the Ulster County line. While John shows in early New Windsor records all references to the family dissipate by 1810. I included some Westlake and a few other Abrams references, hoping some connection can be made.
