Lil's Note: a wee bit of discrepency here. Sherry Young states that Martha, her gggrandmother married a William Illenberg. Obviously the same Martha - Predmore could be mistaken on the prenom. but her having a marriage date is interesting. Obviously Martha was pretty young.

Peter, on a road that runs up from Greenwood Lake.  At the bottom of the hill road, another road branches off, leads to Monroe, where Peter and Jane O'Nail first owned their property.

According to Goshen Presbyterian Church records, Deborah Young married Nathaniel Conkling Oct. 16, 1813.  Nathaniel joined the church Nov. 3, 1814 and Deborah joined Nov. 10, 1816.  Nathaniel died of intemperance March 11, 1833 at age 43.  Daniel O'Neal married Deborah in 1836.  His son John was born in November 1836.

After Daniel married Deborah, he became a farmer using the farm left to Deborah by her first husband, but the farm remained in the name of her late husband.  When Deborah died (also of intemperance) Daniel sued for his share of her estate which she had left for her brother, a lawyer named Colville
Young, and her nieces.  Daniel lost his suit.  There are over 150 pages of hand-written testimony in the Goshen Surrogate Office. The farm reverted to the wild and is now a ski slope and chair lift.
