727 Alexander McElroy Jr.(Liber R page 142 Surrogate court Goshen) names brother James(351) and James named as one of executors in his will. James had a sister, Lydia, my great great grandmother. I have not been successful in tracing Halls or Lancasters. I presume Jemema Hall was a Lancaster who married perhas Samuel Hall.

In the name of God, Amen.

The residue of the rent to be appropriated for the support of my wife and infant daughter, Sarah Elizabeth, if the same shall be one ? if all the money arising from the rent of the farm shall not be needed for the above purposes nor for the payment of my debts, then the surplus to be laid out in improvements on the place.

And further that she shall provide for and take care of her mother if she shall be in circumstances to require it through her life. and to my father , I direct my executors to let him from time to time make his own choice as to making his home where and with whom he pleases.
I hereby revoke all former wills and appoint my beloved wife, Sally David McElroy, James McElroy and Dr Ethan B Carpenter as executors of this my last will and testament.
