This site is dedicated to all of my Fransen family members - near and far, but mostly to my paternal grandparents: Minnie Irene Gear and Arend Fransen

From the brickworks in Germany to the daylabor jobs in Holland, on to the farmland of Illinois and the prairies of Dakota Territory; our family has continued to move forward.
Strong backs, hard work and love of family and God have always been trademarks of our family. We have tilled the soil on two contiments, driven trucks, worked in mills and factories, been office workers, lawyers, pilots, and builders. We have faithfully defended and supported our country. One constant has remained throught all these generations - With God at our side we have improvised, adapted and overcome all obstacles in our paths.
May following generations have the strength and desire to carry on these proud traditions.
