EDINBORO - Theodore W. Bernosky, 76, of RD 2, Edinboro, died, Friday,
Oct. 21, 1994, at Meadville Medical Center, after an extended illness.
He was born in McIntyre, Pa., Jan. 18, 1918, a son of Adam and Sofia
Radomski Biernacki. He married Mary Winiarczyk May 18, 1946. She
survives,
He retired in 1981 from Talon Inc. as an inspector after 40 years of
employment.
A member of St. Philip's Church in Crossingville, he served with the
U.S. Army during World War II in Africa. He was a member of the
American legion in Albion and the Crossingville Sportsmans Club, which
he served as a secretary/treasurer for many years. He was an avid
sportsman.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Stuart
(Mary Ann) Revak of Albion, and Mrs. Vance (Susan) Neal of Zelienople;
five sons, Ted Bernosky Jr. of Saegertown, Chester Bernosky of Linesville,
Edward Bernosky of Edinboro, Tony Bernosky of Meadville, and Kenneth
Bernosky of Cambridge Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Kant7 of
Cochranton, and Mrs. Josephine Tucci of Venango; 15 grandchildren, five
great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded
in death by three brothers, Frank Bernoski, Steve Biernacki and Charlie
Bernoski, and a sister, Stella Graham.
Calling hours will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Samuel J.
Steff Funeral Home, 188 East State St., Albion.
A prayer service will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
A vigil service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 2 p.m. at St.
Philip's Church, Crossingville, with the Rev. Thaddus Konzielski as
celebrant.
Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Crossingville.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Philip's Church, Crossingville.
