EDINBORO - Mary Bernosky, 73, of RD 2, Edinboro, died unexpectedly
Tuesday, May 2, 1995, at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born in Elk Creek Township, Erie County, July 18, 1921, a
daughter of the late Theodore and Rose Kuzminski Winiarczyk. She
married Theodore W. Bernosky, May 18. 1946. He preceded her in
death Oct. 21, 1994.
She was a member of St. Philip's Church in Crossingville, and its
Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and watch
-ing hummingbirds.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Stuart (Mary Ann) Revak of
Albion and Mrs. Vance (Susan) Neal of Zelienople; five sons, Ted
Bernosky Jr. of Saegertown, Chester Bernosky of Linesville, Edward
Bernosky of Edinboro, Tony Bernosky of Meadville, and Kenneth
Bernosky of Cambridge Springs, two brothers, Michael Winne of Erie
and Pete Winiarczyk of Georgia; two sisters, Julia Chaklos of Erie
and Pauline Smith of Ripley, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren, five great-
grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death
by two sisters, Katherine and Anna Winiarczyk; and three brothers,
Paul Winne, Stanley Winiarczyk and George Winiarczyk.
Calling hours are today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at Samuel J. Steff Funeral Home, 188 E. State St.,
Albion.
A prayer service will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home,
followed by a Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. at St. Philip's Church, with
Rev. Konzielski as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Crossingville.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Philip's Church,
Crossingville, Pa., 16412.
