Miss Ettie B. Freeman, 80, of RD 3, Saegertown, died at Spencer Hospital
at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 26, 1976, after an illness of four months.
Born in Mosiertown on June 7, 1896, she was a daughter of Asa and Nancy
Lilly Freeman. She was affiliated with Carmel Baptist Church in Mosiertown.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Borger, with whom she lived
at RD 3, Saegertown; six nieces and nephews; and 44 great-nieces and nephews.
A twin sister, Mrs. Hobart (Agnes) Davis, died in 1956.
Friends called at the Kenneth M. Downs Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs,
where services were conducted with the Rev. Allison Griffis, pastor of Carmel
Baptist Church, officiating. Bearers were Richard Hetz, Ron and Roy Alward,
Robert Davis, Myron Vogt and Larry Borger.
Interment will be at Carmel-Freeman Cemetery, Cussewago Township.
