Charles Bernoski, 70, RD 3, Saegertown, died at City Hospital Saturday,
Feb. 20, 1982, following a short illness.
He was born in Indiana County Sept. 20, 1911, a son of Adam and Sophia
Biernacki. He married Rita Dick in 1939.
He was retired from Interstate Amisite and worked as a farmer for many
years.
Mr. Bernoski was a member of St. Philip's Roman Catholic Church,
Crossingville.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. David (Judith) Quinlan of Erie,
Mrs. Guy (Marilyn) Burchill of Cambridge Springs and Katherine Bernoski
of Meadville; two sons, James E. and John A. Bernoski of Saegertown;
three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Tucci of Venango, Mrs. Stella Graham of
Franklin and Mrs. Roy Kantz of Cochranton; two brothers, Stephen Biernacki
and Theodore Bernoski, both of Crossingville; 12 grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank.
Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Kenneth M. Downs
Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs, where Scripture prayer services will be
held tonight at 8:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m.
with the Rev. Fr. Charles Hockin, pastor of St. Philip's Roman Catholic
Church, officiating. Internment will be at St. James Cemetery.
