Harold W. Baer Sr., 71, RD 3, Saegertown, died Monday, November 5, 1984,
at Spencer Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born at Cussewago Township, August 30, 1913, a son of Fay A. and
Edna (Mosier) Baer.  He married Laura White, February 3, 1937.

He was retired from Pennsylvania Department of Transportation highway
construction after 20 years of service.

He was a Baptist and member of Hayfield Grange.

Survivors include his wife, Laura of Saegertown; one son, Harold Baer Jr.,
Saegertown; one brother, Ernest Baer, Saegertown; one aunt; several nieces
and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at Hunter Funeral Home in Saegertown, Wednesday from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. with the
Rev. Allison Griffis pastor of Carmel Baptist Church of Mosiertown, officiating.
Interment will be at Reichel Cemetery.
