A damsville is located in southern West Fallowfield Township. It was
first settled by the Owry (Oury) Family. Adam Owry (oury) was a blacksmith
who set up shop in the village. The town was known as Owrytown and later
Adamsville. It was platted by Henry Owry (Oury) and acknowledged on
February 8, 1841.
