Genealogy Poem

I hear ethereal whispers
persuasive, soft and still,
"Daughter, if you don't remember
us, who will?"

Family is like the branches of a tree. We may grow in different
directions, yet our roots remain as one. Each of us will always be
part of the other.

But oars alone can ne'er prevail
To reach the distant coast;
The breath of heaven must swell the sail,
Or all the toil is lost. -- Human Frailty.

William Cowper
