The Will of Adam Spoonamore of Lincoln County, Kentucky, 10 October 1822

This document is an official copy of the will of Adam Spoonamore of Lincoln County, Kentucky, drawn up 10 Oct. 1822. In it he names as beneficiaries his wife Nancy and children Sarah Spoonamore, John Spoonamore, David Spoonamore, Mary Spoonamore, Nancy Spoonamore, Samuel Spoonamore, Eliza Spoonamore, and Green Spoonamore. Samuel Dudderar, Sr. was the executor. Peyton Parks and Jacob Spoonamore were witnesses. The copy was made July 29, 1961 and bears the signature and stamp of the Lincoln County Clerk at the time, V. C. Gilliland.

This copy is part of the collection of Mrs. Hazel A. Kennedy, which was auctioned on EBAY and acquired by Sue Simpson, who in turn gave it to me in early 2005.Ted Rice
