LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
JACOB B. FOULKROD

January 1, 1886

Be it known that I, Jacob B. Foulkrod, of the township of Jackson in the County of Lycoming, State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding and knowing the uncertainty of freeman life, do make this my last will and testament, and hereby revoke all other wills heretofore made,

I will that all my first debts and funeral expenses be paid,

I will and bequeath to my daughter Emma B. F. Thomas that part of my farm in Jackson Township, Lycoming County, Penna. bounded as follows; Beginning at the South-west corner of farm (being the Southwest corner of tract 784 granted to Dickinson College) thence East two hundred and eight perches, thence north to the public road leading to Roaring Branch, thence west along the south Side of the road to the Bridge over Roaring Branch Creek, thence along the South Side of the Creek to the dam, thence along the South Side of the dam, when full to its head, thence along the South Side of the Creek to land of Joseph R. Sechrist and thence South to the place of beginning. The said piece of land with every thing appertaining thereto. I give and bequeath to my daughter Emma B. F. Thomas to have and to hold forever.

All the Remainder of my estate, both Real and personal I give & bequeath to my wife Margaretta J. Foulkrod for her maintenance during her natural life, and that she may have sufficient means to live comfortable if she finds products of the farm insufficient for her maintenance, she is hereby authroized to sell bark and timber for that purpose, I having full confidence in her judicious management. After the demise of my wife and her funeral expenses paid the remainder of my estate, both real and personal I bequeath to my daughter Emma B. F. Thomas. But if the said Emma B. F. Thomas should die without any lineal heirs, before my said wife Margaretta J. Foulkrod, then I bequeath the estate to my wife the said Margaretta J. Foulkrod to have and to hold forever.

I appoint my wife Margaretta J. Foulkrod to be the Executor of this my last will and testament during her natural life and subsequently Emma B. F. Thomas if she outlives my wife.
