FOSTER CEMETERY, Rusk County, Texas
This old graveyard is on private property, owned by a family not related to us. Please contact me, David Foster, at 903-764-5218 or by EMAIL for directions on how to find the cemetery before you enter their property. They have been very understanding, sympathetic and courteous to me and I don't want our family to lose our visitation privilege. This old graveyard is badly in need of repair, but in it is the grave of Benjamin Foster and his wife Apsilla Davis Foster, as well as their daughter, Sarah Stanfield. Benjamin Foster is a brother of Thomas Jefferson Foster.
Several of us are concerned enough to try to repair the Foster cemetey in Rusk County. The project will take a lot of physical labor and not a small amount of money. If you would be willing to join a work party to assist in this effort, or assist in some other way, please contact David Foster.
If you can help with THE FOSTER BURIAL PLACE IDENTIFICATION PROJECT and have additional information on where some of our loved ones are buried, we would appreciate your sharing this information with us by sending us an EMAIL.
