Charles H. Trickett Eighty-Seven Friday
Port Rowan: Charles H Trickett will quietly mark his 87th birthday on Friday, May 8th at the home of his os-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Rolson, with whom he has resided for 13 years.
He was born at Pitman's Corners, a son of the late Thomas Trickett and Mary Brown, and resided there until his marriage to Miss Ethel Hutchings 56 years ago. They moved to a farm in South Middleton and then to Langton, where they resided 37 years, and where their four daughters were born. They are: Mrs. Alonzo Roloson of Port Rowan, Mrs. John Swift of Boston, Mrs. Clarence Gee and Mrs. Clayton Moore of Cayuga. He has four sisters, Mrs. Alice Scott of London, Mrs. Harry Brooks of St. Williams, Mrs. Julia Overbaugh of Hamilton and Mrs. Hannah Bint of Walsh. There are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Trickett is an adherent of the United Church and a member of the Foresters Lodge. Mrs. Trickett passed away six years ago last September. Mr. Trickett is not enjoying the best of health and has been confined to his room during the past few weeks.
