The purpose of this web site is to share information on the descendants of Johann Adam Forney who came with his wife, Elizabetha Lowisa and children, Marx, Johann Nicholas, Lowisa Charlotte and Maria Eva to America in 1721 from Wachenheim, Germany.

The Forney's resided in Philadelphia, Pa., port of entry from Rotterdam, Germany, for ten years before removing to Hanover, York County, Pa. Two other children, Frederick (Philip) and Clora were born in Philadelphia, Pa.
