Last Rites for W. K. Brown of Millington Held Tuesday

Millington - William K. Brown passed away in his sleep, Sunday night, at the age of 81 years 8 months and 14 days.

He was born in England, September 16, 1859 and came to the United States at the age of 21. He has resided in LaSalle county since with the exception of seventeen years spent in Kendall county. He was engaged in farming until he retired some years ago.

Surviving are seven children, Mrs. Florence Thomas of Genoa, E. W. Brown and Mrs Bessie Brown of Plano, James Brown of Newark, John Brown, Robert Brown and Mrs. Gladys Kratzer of Millington. One child died many years ago and his wife preceded him in deaht three years ago. Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Roscoe Burgess of Peoria Heights officiated. Burial was in the Millington-Newark Cemetery.
