William Calvin Benton, 69, of Coffman Community died at 5:20 Thursday afternoon at Community Hospital following an illness due to a stroke of paralysis. He was a native of Greene County and was a farmer. Mr. Benton was a member of the Robb's Chapel Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Sunday at Robb's Chapel Church by the Rev. R.C. Rogers. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetary by the Verlyn Heath Funeral Home.
Surviving are his wife Lillie Mae Benton; a daughter, Mrs. W.C. Riley of Route 6, Paragould; two sons, Sam Benton of Brinkley, and Murtis Benton of Route 5, Paragould; a sister, Mrs. Dave Crafton of Route 3 Marmaduke; a brother, Ed Benton of Plymouth, Mich.; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
