Mrs. Sarah Benton Dies At Home Of Son

Mrs. Sarah Benton, aged 87, died at 10:30 this morning at the home of her son, W.C. Benton of route six. She was a native of Indiana but had been a resident of Greene County 65 years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 tomorrow morning from Robbs Chapel and burial will be made in the New Friendship cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Williamson will officiate.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dave Crafton of Marmaduke, route three; two sons, W.C. Benton of route six and Ed Benton of Plymouth, Mich.; 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
