Mrs. Sadie J. Brown, 84, of Plano died Saturday, April 12 at her home. She was born Feb. 9, 1891 in Big Grove Township. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Robert (Julia) Davis of Plano, Mrs. Robert (Eleanor) Gengler of Sandwich, Mrs. Edolph (Mildred) Thompson of Newark, Mrs. Sherman (Eloise) Mathre of Newark, Mrs. Louis (Doris) Akre of Newark, Mrs. Glenn (Nancy) Green of Mundelein; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband E. William Brown, 2 grandchildren, two brothers and five sisters. Mrs. Brown was a member of the United Methodist Church in Plano. Funeral Services were held Tuesday, April 15 at the United Methodist Church in Plano. The Rev. Wayne R. Wachholz officiated. Burial was in the Millington-Newark Cemetery in Millington. Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church in Plano, or to the Golden Harvesters Senior Citizens Organization in Plano.
