Newt Gilford Gravley was born in Big Grove Township, September 4, 1888 and passed away at the hospital in La Salle, January 29, 1926 after an illness of only a few days. He leaves to mourn him, his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Lewis Gravley, six sisters and one brother. The funeral services were held at the home of his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Lewis Gravley and at the Lutheran Church on Tuesday. Rev. L. L. Masted officiating. Mr. Clarence Vogen sang. The remains were laid to rest in the Millington-Newark Cemetery.
