MRS. MARY E. MANGRUM DIES AT DAUGHTER'S HOME

Mrs. Mary E. Mangrum, aged 57, died at 4:15 yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Crafton, at Stonewall, following an illness of cancer of the bladder. She had been bedfast four weeks and in failing health for the past six months. Mrs. Mangrum was a native of Ironton, Mo., but had been a resident of Greene County for 19 years.
Funeral services and burial were conducted at three o'clock this afternoon at Scatter Creek cemetary. The Rev. Dolphus Lee officiated.
Deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sam Benton of route four, and Mrs. Crafton; and three sons, Howell Mangrum who is in the United States army camp at Benning Ga., Jones Mangrum of Stonewall, and James Mangrum of Cheyenne, Wyo.
