Marjorie Gearson

Marjorie Ann Gearson, 63, of Plano, died Friday, June 27, 2003, at the Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. She was born on Aug. 12, 1939 in Sandwich, the daughter of Robert A. and Julia (Brown) Davis.

Marjorie was united in marriage on Nov. 12, 1960 at the United Methodist Church of Plano to Ralph Gearson, and they spent the next 42 happy years together. She was a very active member of the United Methodist Church of Plano, where she was also a member of its choir. Marjorie was employed, for many years, as an X-ray Technician by Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. She is survived by her husband; her mother, Julia Davis, of Plano; her children, Ralph Fredrick (Catherine) Gearson, Jr., of Plano, and Susan Lynn (Arsenio) Locsin, of Woodinville, WA; her grandchildren, Sarah Jean and Sean Michael Gearson, of Fairdealing, MO; her brother, Gerald Alan (Paula) Davis, of Oswego and her brother-in-law, Richard Latham, of Ava, IL.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert A. Davis on Dec. 23, 1994 and her sister, Carole Jean Latham on June 27, 2001.

A memorial service for Mrs. Gearson was held Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at the United Methodist Church of Plano.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of Plano's Elevator Fund.
