In Memory Of
Helen (Estes) Risener
Sadness fell on us today,
A precious loved one went away.
Called suddenly from the earthly land,
To walk and sing with the Angel band.
Jesus took her by the hand,
To lead her to that heavenly land.
There to dwell with him on high,
Above the blue of the beautiful sky.
So hard to lose that one so dear,
Loved by all throughout her years.
Thru tear-dimmed eyes we lay to rest,
Our faith is put to a heavy test.
But promise of eternal life,
Lifts us up above the strife.
Some day soon we'll join her there,
A home in heaven, bright and fair.
