ETHEL RODEN ESTES

Ethel Roden Estes was born June 22, 1905 at Shannon, Miss., and departed this life Thursday evening, March 27 at 2:30 o'clock at the age of 46 years, 9 months and 5 days.

She was united in marriage to Rube Estes of Brillian, Alabama on November 29, 1922. To this union four children were born, one of whom preceded her in death at an early age. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Rube, three children, Taft Estes of Greenway, Helen Risener of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Ray Estes of Long Beach, Calif. Three grandchildren, Allan Risener, Linda Estes and Ann Estes; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roden of Greenway; two sisters and three brothers, Luther and William Roden of Greenway; Jack Roden of Paragould; Rosie Huff of Rector and Leona Harris of Vancouver, Wash.

She obeyed the Gospel and became a member of the Church of Christ at an early age and lived a devoted christian life.

She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Piggott Church of Christ, conducted by Bro. Harlan Heard. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery with Russell Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
