Paragould, Feb. 10 - C. Mangrum, aged 69, a resident of the Jackson's Commissary vicinity, died Monday. He was a native of Alabama, but for a number of years had been a resident of this county. Mr. Mangrum is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Mangrum; eight children, Mrs. H.J. Robinson, Mrs. Tom Cole of Stanford, Tom Mangrum of Monroe, La., Howel Mangrum who is in the United States Navy, Jones Mangrum of Jackson's Commissary, Miss Alberta Mangrum, and another daughter.

Aged Citizen of County Dies of Pneumonia

C. Mangum, aged 69, a resident of Jackson's Commissary neighborhood, died yesterday afternoon about 3 o'clock following an illness of one week of pneumonia. Mr. Mangum was a native of Alabama but for a number of years had been a resident of this county. Funeral and burial took place this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in Beliew Cemetery, Rev. Oliver officiating.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Mangum, eight children, Mrs. H.J. Robinson of this city, Mrs. Tom Cole of the Stanford neighborhood, Tom Mangum of Monroe, La., Howel Mangum who is in the United States Army, Jones Mangum of Lafe, James Mangum of Jackson's Commissary, Miss Alberta Mangum and a daughter whose name could not be ascertained; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Luna of Des Arc, Mo., and Mrs. Lucy Daniel of this city.
