Comments about the web site: Hello Fern, I'm very happy to find your web page. I am not from either the Ferguson or Merryman family, but am the granddaughter of Sarah Jane Smith and James Williamson Cobb. I well remember seeing Aunt Suzie (Martha Susan SMITH MERRYMAN)at reunions when I was a small child. These reunions were held to celebrate Grandma Cobb and Aunt Susie's birthday. Since two of Grandma Sally's sisters married Merryman's, I am trying to get as much information of them as possible for my data base. Keep up the good work, Barbara

Comments about the web site: my dates don't agree with a lot of yours,I will send you what I have from B.F. down. he died in 1898 amd was married to Mary Ann Mcmillan. His Father was William Pres Merryman,,,,was raised in and around the Owensville community in Robertson. There may be a different, but B.F. did have a sister,I think half sister, that was a Mcquistion. Some of the family spell their name with an I,others spell with Y,,,as far as I can find out it was how it was spelled during the Civil War on papers,,brothes spelled it differently.Looking back on cival war pension papers, it was spelled different ways,as the men could notread or write,,hope this makes since..My grandfater was James Matthew,.

Comments about the web site: I checked my line again, sorry your William Presley was a brother to my B.FMerryma,he also had a son named William Presley,I heard my father talk of Uncle Will several times. He also had a sister had named Lizzie who died in 1873 of yellow ever. It seems like the family used the same names over several times. Do you still live in or around Robertson Co.?

Comments about the web site: I'm looking for Robert "Bob" W. Merryman and his wife Judith "Judy" Merryman, would any of you happen to be related to them. Bob was a pilot for our company and later moved to Oklahoma City, OK and sold Jets there. I have lost contact with them and can't seem to locate them anywhere. Thanks for the help.
