| July 25, 1924 McDonald PA Record While helping to cut hay on land owned by the National Mining company at National No. 3, Cecil township, on Thursday of last week, Mike SEMINICH, Jr., 13 year-old son of Mike SEMINICH of National No. 3 was caught by the cutter bar of a mowing machine and his left leg so badly lacerated that amputation was necessary. The accident occurred, it is said, when the boy attempted to make the horses that were drawing the machine move more rapidly.
