Sour Lake-Small Cemetery  The old road to this cemetery is still
there.  It's just a wee bit north and across the highway and leads to
the small town of Grayburg.  Before the new highway was built, the
old original one went through this town from Sour Lake to Nome, Texas.

Mildred S. Wright named this cemetery GRAYBURG COLORED CEMETERY (New)
in her book HARDIN COUNTY TEXAS CEMETERIES, there being another one
named (Old).  She read these cemeteries 6-6-1973, so I expect several
graves have been added since then.  These cemeteries were originally for the
black people of Sour Lake and Grayburg, which are only about a mile apart.
