It is likely

They are each listed as living in "Knockeele"--this townland is liekly
either Knockheel or Knockyle, parish Rathdowney, Co. Laois, Ireland.

Her obituary says her birthplace was Ballybrophy, County Laois,
Ireland;
d. January 13,
1914, Muskegon, Michigan; m. PATRICK FITZPATRICK
August 18,1873 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Troy, NY.
JOSEPH BERGIN,
b. Abt. 1850. Went to America and became a Christian Brother.
ELIZABETH
BERGIN, b. Abt. 1853. Stayed in Ireland.
Worked as a Cook. Never married.
JOHN BERGIN, b.April 10 1861. His baptism record
says his address was "Knockeel" parish Rathdowney. (His last name
was spelled BERGAN.) The sponsors at his baptism were EDWARD CAMPION
and JUDITH PERKENSON.
JOHN enlisted in the British Army and eventually became a
sergent. He married MARY MCDOWELL. He died November 12,
1924 in Ireland.
