In 1780, Frederick Fisher, who was 18 years old at the time, was "severely wounded" in an engagement of the American Revolution known as The Battle of King's Mountain . He served in a company of Virginia Militia and was pensioned by the state of Virginia until 1846 when his pension from the United States was approved. He died that same year. These are the only documents in his federal pension file. Not much family information here but interesting nonetheless.
