Arrived in Philadelphia on the ship "Chance" with his father Nicholas and probably two brothers. He lived for time in Lancaster county and served in the Revolutionary war from there, before moving to Perry county.

State of New York, Ontario County; On the 17th day of June 1833 before the subscribe and notary public in and for said county personally appeared Philip Littig and made oath in due form of ?? - that in addition to his former declaration hereto attaches that he was born in Germany the 10th day of May 1760 of which he has a family records - he removed to America with his father in the fall of 1765, arrived in Philadelphia and settled in Lancaster County, where he resided in September 1776 when he entered the service -That in 1777 he removed to Juniata Pennsylvania. Lived there untill1808 when removed to Seneca County, New York, where he has resided to this time. That in 1776 he entered the service as set forth in his declaration in September and was discharged in November. That he received pay for ?? months service, but cannot state the day of the month, also that he spent in the whole seven months as a private for which he claims a pension. It was signed Phillip Littig ....

Another paper: Catharine states that she and Phillip were married in Greenwood Twp, Cumberland Co. on her claim for Phillips pension and also says he died on 15 January 1839 in Fayette, NY .... She was allowed pension on her application executed 7August 1843.Other sources have written Phillip died in Fayetteville, NY, not Fayette- I don't know which would be the correct name.... But Phillip Liddick definitely went to Seneca County!
