ZEBULON KILE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
In the name
of God Amen. I, Zebulon KILE of the
County of Pendleton and State of Virginia, being in the state of sound mind and
disposing memory do make and ordain this my last will and testimony in the form
and manner following to wit.
1st
I will that all my just debts and
funeral expenses be paid.
2nd I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary KILE, all my household
and kitchen furniture and one-third of all my real and personal estate, that I
now and hereafter may hold, I further bequeath to my beloved wife Mary KILE
one-third of my land that my son Isaac KYLE bid in for me, at a public sale
made by decree of the Court of appeals of Virginia, known by the name of the
CUNNINGHAM lands, and sold by ROBERTS and TEMPLE agents appointed by the same
decree a portion of the purchase ---for this land I sent to Stanton by my
brother George and the balance I paid myself.
3rd I will and bequeath to my son Isaac KYLE the other two parts
of the above named Cunningham land, and after the death of my wife, I will and
bequeath the remainder of my land to my son Isaac KILE.
4th I will and bequeath to my daughters namely, Mary Unis,
Margaret Catherine, Sarah Susan, Barbary Delena, Denisa Ann Jemima, Eliza Ellen
KYLE an equal division of my land and estate that I now or hereafter may hold.
5th I further will and bequeath to my son Isaac KYLE and my above
named six daughters a equal division of all my Negroes, stock and bonds of
whatsoever description I now or hereafter may hold.
6th It is my further wish and desire that my family be kept
together and be under protection and management of my wife until they come of
age or get married.
7th I will appoint and make George SCHUMACKER and my beloved wife
Mary KYLE my executors to this my last will and testament.
