He was married to Mittie Frances Clark Point (daughter of Charles Jacob Point and Mary Gaskins Crow) about 1878 in Virginia. Mittie Frances Clark Point was born on 30 Apr 1850 in Hanover Junction, Hanover Co., Virginia. She died on 26 Dec 1937 in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was buried in Alderson, Greenbrier Co., West Virginia. Alex McVeigh Miller and Mittie Frances Clark Point had the following children:
