623 High Street, Bellingham, WA ca. 1905. This house
was likely built by my Great-Grandfather, Edward C. Schumacher.
The Schumacher's lived here until about 1910. The house no longer
exists. It and a few others were torn down to make room for a
Western Washington University building. |

This is an unidentified house. I suspect it was
built by Edward C. Schumacher and his brother George Schumacher.
The two men (probably the ones pictured at the front steps) were
known to be in business together in the late 1880's and early
1890's. The home could be in one of several counties in the north
eastern area of Illinois. |
