"Dedication of the First Baptist Church at Eau Gallie" On Sunday the 17th inst., the dedication services of the First Baptist Church at Eau Gallie, were conducted by the Rev. W. N. Chaudoin, of LaGrangel assisted by the Rev. S. F. Cove and Rev. Mr. Prince. A large and very attentive congregation assembled, and our neighboring towns were well represented. The steamer Maggie Billon, owned by Mr. William Treutler, made a trip from here to Melbourne and Tillman and return, which was free to all those wishing to attend the services."At the conclusion of the sermon, which was attentively listened to by those present, the Rev. W. N. Chaudoin, the secretary, read a report of the Building Committee's proceedincrs up to the Ist of January, 1889, which showed a balance in the Treasurer's hands on that date of $17.22.
