Mr. Robert Leslie "Boogie" Lamm, age 63, of Lynchburg, Va., formerly of Lucama, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005.
Graveside services will be conducted at Evergreen Memorial Park on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Wayne Whitley.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Teaster of Roaring River, N.C.; two sons, Robert Jeffrey "Jeff" Lamm of Lynchburg, Va., Brian David Lamm of Chesapeake, Va.; his mother, Mildred W. Lamm of Lucama; two sisters, Brenda L. Carlyle of Lucama and Patricia L. O'Neal of Chesapeake, Va.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home.

BAILEY: Connie Boyd Mercer, 38, died today. The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Duane Caldwell at 11 a.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 U.S. 264 West, Wilson. Burial will follow in Bailey Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Ray Mercer; two sons, Brandon Ray Mercer and Bradley Cole Mercer, both of the home; and her parents, Whitley and Peggy Lamm Boyd of Bailey.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 tonight and at other times at 10110 South N.C. 581.
