Ressie Lamm Mercer, 87, of Wilson died Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by the Rev. David Wood. Burial will follow in the Bailey Cemetery.
She is survived by four daughters, Jean Bissette, Carrie Peacock and husband, Dennis, Jennifer Lamm and husband, Charles, all of Wilson and Susan Cribbs and husband, Dwight, of Sanford; a son, Jerry Mercer of Wilson; two special friends, Sandra Robbins and Teresa Woodard; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robie Mercer and two sons, Ray Mercer and Larry Mercer
The family received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and at other times at 5139 Bloomery Road.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church, 5843 Shiloh Church Road, Wilson, NC 27896.

Mamie J. Lamm Lemmons, 86, of 6067 Lamm Road died Thursday at WilMed Nursing Care Center. The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. T. Elwood Long at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara L. Davis of Sims and Florence L. Webb of Wilson; two sons, Garland L. Lemmons of Kenly and Cecil R. Lemmons of Wilson; one sister, Ressie L. Mercer of Wilson; 12 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Shingleton Funeral Home, 2407 W. Nash St., from 7-8:30 tonight and at other times at 6315 Old Davis Road, Sims.
