I, Isaiah Lamm, of the aforesaid County and state, being of sound mind, but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existance, do hereby revoke all previous wills, bargains and agreements, and do make and declare this my last will and testament:

First, my executor, hereinafter named, shall give my body a suitable burying and pay all funeral expenses together with all my just debts out of the first money which may come into his hands belonging to my estate. My executor shall, also, give my grave a suitable marker.

Second, I give and devise to my daughter, Victoria one storehouse located on her own land in Wilson County North Carolina.

Third, I give and devise to Willard Watson, Elmer Watson, and Elton Watson the entire stock of goods in the store mentioned in section "Second" above, in equal proportion, share and share alike.

Fourth, I give and bequeath to my daughter, Bettie, one store house located on her own farm in Sampson County, North Carolina.

Fifth, I give and devise to Harvey Watson and Leon Watson the entire stock of goods in the store mentioned in section "Fourth" above, in equal proportion, share and share alike.

Sixth, I give and bequeath to my daughter Octavia two notes of fifty Dollars each given and signed by Jacob Ferrell.

Seventh, I give and bequeath to my son Jacob one one hundred dollar note given and signed by S. J. Watson.

Eighth, I give and bequeath to my son Wiley all the money that I may have on hand and all the money deposited in any bank or banks and all acoounts due me including rents due and past due. Said son Wiley shall bear funeral and marker expenses mentioned above in section "First".

Ninth, I hereby constitute and appoint my son Wiley, my lawful executor to all intents and purposes to execute this my last will and testament, according to the true intent and meaning of the same and every part and clause herein contained.

A paper writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Isaiah Lamm, deceased, is exhibited before me, the undersigned Clerk of the Superior Court for said county, by Wiley Lamm, the executor therein mentioned, and the due execution thereof by the said Isaiah Lamm is proved by the oath and examination of Ben H. Hackney and Luther G. Collins, the subscribing witnesses thereto, who being duly sworn, doth depose and say, and each for himself deposeth and saith, that he is a subscribing witness to the paper writing now shown him, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Isaiah Lamm; that the said Isaiah Lamm, in the presence of this deponent, subscribed his name at the end of said paper writing, which is now shown as aforesaid, and which bears date of the 6 day of April, 1929.

And This Deponent Further Saith, that the said Isaiah Lamm, the testator aforesaid, did, at the time of subscribing his name as aforesaid, declare the said paper writing so subscribed by him and exhbinted to be his last Will and Testament, and this deponent did thereupon subscribe bis name at the end of said Will, as an attesting witness thereto and at the request and in the presence of said testator. And this deponene further saith that at the same time when the said testator subscribed his name to the said last Will as aforesaid, and at the time of the deponent's subscribing his name as attesting witness thereto, as aforesaid, the said Isaiah Lamm was of sound mind and memory, of full age to execute aWill, and was not under any restraint, to the knowledge, information or belief of this deponent; And further these deponents say not.

In the Name of god amen I Joshua Lam of the county of Wayne and State of North Carolina planter being in common health and of a sound mind and memory calling to mind the mortality of my body knowing it is appointed unto men once to die and for the better Setting my worldly estate do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following viz
Item 1st I lend to my beloved wife Charlotte Lam my house and all the Land I bought of Stettesin(?) Wood and during her Natrel Life time or widow hood and one mare Bridle and Saddle one fether bed and Stid and furniture and one cow and calf and one sow and pigs and two head of sheep and my still and all of my farming tools and kitchen furniture also one years provision for her and her family and also all my sider casks and my cart and wheels
Item 2nd I give to my daughter Polly Waddell ten dollars Item 3rd I give to my gran son harres Waddell all the Land I bought of Mathew Jyner lying on both sides of mallens(?) Branch and one fether bed & stid and furniture and one Shot gun Item 4th I give to my daughter Cherry Lam one fether bed and stid and furniture and one heiffer two head of Sheep and after payin all my Just debts I give all that is not given away in legises and all that is Lent to my wife after her death or widow hood to my said daughter Cherry Lam to her and her heirs for ever and lastly I appoin and anominate my grandson harres waddell my hole and sole executor to this my Last will and testament denying and revoking all former wills (turnover) testaments and bequeaths made or by me bequeathed only Rattifing and publishing this and no other to be my Last will and testament whair unto I the said Joshua Lam have here unto set my hand and affixed my Seal this the 31st day of May 1845

Lamm, Delphia (b. NOV 1838, d. 1920)

I, Delphia Deans, of the county and State aforesaid, being of sound mind and disposing memory, but realizing the uncertainty of this life, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament as follows:
1st. It is my will and desire that my executors herein named shall give to my body a decent burial, and out of the first moneys coming into their hands and belonging to my estate to pay all my just & lawful debts.
2nd. Subject to the conditions of management hereinafter mentioned, I give and devise to my son, Isaac Daniel Deans, that lot or parcel of land situated in Taylors Township, county and state aforesaid, known as the four and one-tenth acre lot on the southeast side of the road in front of my home place, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning in my line and in the road and runs along said road for 870 feet, cornering and running northwardly for 290 feet to a pine, cornering and runs southwardly in a line parallel to the said road 890 feet to a stake cornering, thence to the beginning. To have and to hold the said land for the term of his natural life, and after his death to be equally divided among his children, if any he shall have at his death; and after his death, in the event he shall leave no issue, or heirs, I give the said land to Elvira White to hold for the term of her natural life, and after her death to her children in fee simple forever.
3rd. I give and devise to my daughter, Chelly Graham, a one-third undivided interest in and to the residue of my land lying on the northeast side of the road joining the lands of Peninah Montgomery, W. H. White and others, containing 46 acres more or less. To have and to hold the one-third undivided interest for the term of her natural life, and after her death I give and devise the said land to her children, if any she have living at her death, but if she would die without issue or heirs then I give the said land to her brother and sister, Elvira White and Isaac Daniel Deans.
4th. I give and devise a one-third undivided interest in and to the last mentioned tract of land to my daughter, Elvira White, to have and to hold for the term of her natural life, and after her death, I give the said land to her children, if any she has at her death, but if she should die without issue or heirs, then I give the said land to her brother and sister - - Chelly Graham and Isaac Daniel Deans.
5th. I give and devise to my son, Isaac Daniel Deans, a one-third interest in and to the last mentioned tract of land. To have and to hold the same for the term of his natural life, and after his death I give the said land to his children, if any he should have, but if he should die without issue or heirs, then I give the said land or interest to his sisters - Elvira White and Chelly Graham.
6th. It is my will and desire that whereas my son, Isaac Daniel Deans, is now in the State Hospital for the insane, that my daughter, Elvira White, shall have the control and management of the lands or interest in the same herein given to the said Isaac Daniel Deans, after my death until he shall be discharged from the said hospital and be adjudged by the authorities thereof to be competent to manage his own estate, and she shall rent out the said land or interest therein and use the rents and profits thereof for the benefit of the said Isaac Daniel Deans or his estate.
7th. It is my further will and desire that all of the lands herein given or devised except the 4 1/10 acre lot give to Isaac Daniel Deans, shall be rented by my daughter, Elvira White, after my death, and that the rents and profits of the said land shall be divided in the same proportion as the land itself is divided as above set forth, and that they shall not have the said land divided.
8th. It is also my will and desire that no waste shall be committed on the said land by the life tenants, but that the same shall be preserved and protected by them for their children.
9th. It is also my will and desire that where either of my children, the said Chelly, Elvira or Isaac Daniel dies, his or her children shall receive his or her part of the rents and profits thereof.
10th. I give and bequeath to Isaac Daniel Deans all of my personal property of every kind so long as he shall live, the same to be managed by my daughter, Elvira White, above mentioned, for his benefit after my death in the same manner as the real estate.
11th. I hereby give and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Polly Ellis, the sum of Five Dollars only.
12th. I hereby appoint Elvira White and Chelly Graham executors of this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof, I hereunto set my hand and seal this the 5th day of Oct. 1911.
