Permission granted by Jared Dean Fergus to post “Fergus Family Facts and Foibles newsletter, started by James Arthur Fergus in 1999, with the help of family members who contributed material. Jim published 20-30 newsletters over a four year period. His first issue (February 1999) tells why he started the newsletter. In October 2004, a special issue was put together by Jim's grandson, Jared Dean Fergus, honoring his father, James Dale FERGUS who was also the son of James Arthur Fergus.
