Rites Arranged
For Frank Feist
  Frank Feist, 74, of St. Anne's
Guest Home, died Saturday morn-
ing at a local hospital where he
had been a patient for two days.
  Funeral services for Mr. Feist
will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday
at St. Michael's Catholic Church
her with Msgr. William McNamee
officiating.  Burial will be in Cal-
vary cemetery.
  The body will lie in state at
the Norman Funeral Home Mon-
day afternoon and evening with
recitation of the rosary at 8 p.m.
Monday
  Mr. Feist was born Dec. 15, 1885
in Russia.  He came to the United
States from Canada in 1905 and
settled in Grand Forks.
  He married the former Barbara
folk here on Nov. 12, 1907.  The
couple farmed near Manvel, N.D.
from 1916 to 1920.  They also farm-
ed north of East Grand Forks
from 1920 until 1928.
  Moving to Grand Forks in 1928,
where he continued to live until
his death, Mr. Feist was employ-
ed by the Northern Construction
Co. and later the Johnson-Gilland-
der Construction Co. here.
  He retired in 1951, and has re-
sided at the guest home for the
past year.  His wife died April 17,
1954.
  He is survived by two sons,
John E. and Joseph, both of Grand
Forks; a brother, Carl, also of
Grand Forks; eight grandchildren
and two great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers for Frank Feist, 74,
of St. Anne's Guest Home, who
died Saturday at a local hospital,
will be Sebastian, Pius, Andrew
and George Feist, Paul Foltz and
Ned Goetz.
  Funeral services will be held
 Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. Michael's
Catholic Church with Msgr. Wil-
liam McNamee officiating. Burial
will be in Calvary Cemetery.
  The body will lie in state at
the Norman Funeral Home Mon-
day afternoon and evening with
recitation of the rosary at 8 p.m.
