Age 69, of Pittsburgh, fell asleep with the Lord on Wednesday, March 17, 2004. Born April 19, 1934 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Frank Wells, Sr. and Katharine (Harris) Fay. He was a graduate of Kiskiminetas Springs School, Saltsburg, and Harvard College. He was a US Army veteran having served in Iceland. He retired in 1994 from the US Army Reserves with 20 years of service with the Judge Advocate general Unit. He was also a teacher having taught in public and private schools. He was a friend of Bill W. for 28 years. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Suzanne (Reybine) Fay; a son, Geoffrey Harris Fay of Pittsburgh; a sister, Elinor Furst of Swarthmore; four brothers; Jon Wells Fay and wife, Inger, of Wallingford, Michael Fay and wife, Joan of Laguna Nigel, CA, Frank Wells "Terry" Fay, Jr. of Leeper, and William Loring Fay and wife, Mary Jane, of Greenville; and numerous nephews and nieces. Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 120 Swissvale Ave., Edgewood, Saturday, March 27, 2004, at 1 pm. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Greenville, PA. EUGENE G.
