Benjamin Fassett Fay, son of Samuel and Ruth Fay, married Margaret Lord Hyde, daughter of Capt. Asa Hyde of Bennington, VT on Nov 21, 1831.

Margaret Hyde Fay, only child of Benjamin Fassett Fay and Margaret his wife, born May 5th 1833.

Margaret Hyde Fay, daughter of Benjamin Fay and Margaret L Fay, married Hinman Samuel Brown, son of Maj. S. H. and Sarah M. Brown of Bennington, VT, on Nov 1, 1859.

Benjamin Fay Brown, son of Hinman L. and Margaret H. Fay Brown born October 27, 1862.

Benjamin Fay Brown died March 24, 1897. Age 36 years.

Sarah Hinman Brown died March 28, 1906. Age 43 years.

Dr. Jonas Fay, who was born in Hardwick, Mass, Jan. 17, 1737, and moved to Bennington with his father in 1766, occupied from early date a prominent position among the settlers in the New Hampshire Grants, as well in the contest with New York as in that of the mother country, and also in the organization of the state government.
