Harris married Edgar P Etnire on 11 July 1897 at Fulton County, Illinois. Emma L. Harris died on 18 June 1970 at Smithfield, Fulton County, Illinois, at age 91.¹ She was buried at Baughman Cemetery, Smithfield, Fulton County, Illinois.
