The
three inline maps here are JPEGs approximately 250K in
size. There are no additional larger versions of these
maps, because the information on them is very clear at
this level of compression. The images are just under 800
pixels wide.
This
detail comes from the Dennis Griffith map of Maryland in
the Library of Congress Map Collection... it's an amazing
and beautiful piece of workmanship for its day.
Unfortunately only a little information is on the
Delaware part of the map, but it may be enough to help
you identify towns and waterways. The maps have been
edited just a little for clarity (for example, bringing
the word Marshy of "Marshy Hope Creek" up into Kent
County).
