This miscellany of pictures reflects parts of King's Norton away from The Green and its immediate environs.

King's Norton station is currently 4 tracks wide, with three platforms, although the centre platform is no longer used.  Nothing now remains of the old Midland Railway buildings. The new station building is now at the Pershore Road South end of the station in Cotteridge.

The following are pictures taken around Lifford Lane.  The stop lock was to maintain the differing levels between the Stratford on Avon canal and the Birmingham Worcester canal.   King's Norton Junction is taken from the bridge across the Birmingham Worcester canal.  About one mile south of King's Norton junction is the mouth of Wast Hills tunnel on the Worcester canal.
