Stopping the Mail

So, we guess that if you are looking here, you have decided you need to stop mail delivery.  It is our sincere hope that you have finally have found the time and enough information to visit the old country, or some other exciting new project.   We accept that all good things come to an end, but before you go would you send the List Owner one last letter?  We would like to know how we were helpful, what you might of liked to see more of, and if you would, why you decided to leave the list.

Before you unsubscribe you need to know how you are receiving mail, you are either in DIGEST or LIST mode.

If you receive mail from Familysearch-L and the messages come one at a time, you are in List Mode.
If mail comes from Familysearch-D and your mail comes about once a day as a group, then you are in Digest Mode.

Now that you are certain of how you are subscribed.....

You need to tell the Rootsweb computer how to stop your subscription. There is a link below for both formats.  Just click on the appropriate link and make sure your letter contains the single command UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line and the body of the letter. If you can, don't include any signatures or other text that might confuse the Rootsweb Computer.
