The oceans to be cross'd, the distant brought near,
The lands to be welded together." (W. Whitman, d. 1892)

Welcome to the

QUAKER ELECTRONIC ARCHIVE

and MEETING PLACE

Founded in early 1994 as the first general-purpose Quaker site on the Internet, this site contains Quaker writings and other documents such as minutes and resource guides, as well as a message board. The archive offers a keyword search function, and links to other sites of interest to Friends are also provided.

The site is maintained by George Amoss Jr., a member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
