Jerald Jaynes
Jerald Jaynes, 52 of Seymour, passed away Monday morning, August 9, 2010, in Illinois.
Mr. Jaynes was an active member of Seymour Christ Temple. He was an over the road truck driver for Dolly Madison for 21 years.
He was born December 7, 1957 in Seymour. He was the son of Agnes L. Arnold and Frank Jaynes, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Jaynes and Frankie Jaynes, and sister, Marsha Jaynes.
The Rev. Dennis Allman and the Rev. Dennis Allman II conducted a funeral service at Voss Chapel in Seymour. Burial followed at Riverview Cemetery with a Voss dove release.

Bystander Tried To Help Victims Of Semi Accident. He Could, But It Was Too Late.
Jerald was driving his big rig on I-70 in Illinois when he was unable to stop his truck in time to avoid backed up traffic from an earlier wreck. He hit the back of another rig and his truck caught fire. He was pronounced at the scene.
